Project description: Convoy of Hope’s new office building features a three-story atrium with an employee cafe, catering kitchen, training room, offices, executive suites, and board and conference rooms, as well as a third-floor patio, 700-seat chapel and production studios. A second-story enclosed skywalk will connect the building to the nonprofit’s distribution center, which opened in fall 2021. The headquarters is being constructed of post-tensioned cast-in-place concrete in a steel frame that includes decorative metal wall panels and aluminum and glass accents. Buxton Kubik Dodd Design Collective is the architect and mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer. Additional engineering work is by Olsson Inc., civil, Miller Engineering PC, structural, and Anderson Engineering Inc., geotechnical.
