Project description: Miller Commerce LLC’s Turners Rock senior living community calls for 51 independent living units, 50 assisted living beds and 20 memory care beds. Officials say amenities will include a pool, bistro, third-story pub and rooftop social deck, a game room and theater. H Design Group LLC is the project architect and engineers are Olsson Inc., civil; Mettemeyer Engineering LLC, structural; and CJD Engineering LLC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing.
Plaza Shopping Center gained an arcade with the March 1 opening of The Flying Lap LLC; the repurposing of space operated by Burrell Behavioral Health resulted in the March 18 opening of the company’s second autism center; and a group of downtown business owners teamed up to reopen J.O.B. Public House.
