Plaza Shopping Center gained an arcade with the March 1 opening of The Flying Lap LLC; the repurposing of space operated by Burrell Behavioral Health resulted in the March 18 opening of the company’s second autism center; and a group of downtown business owners teamed up to reopen J.O.B. Public House.
At one time I lived along this Grant Ave corridor. Yes, it will be good for Downtown to have easier connectability to Bass Pro but the biggest advantage will be the forthcoming changes along the corridor especially from Walnut to Grand. I can picture much of this "blighted" area in this particular section being slowly transitioned over time. It's needed it for many years and this when complete will give the developers the opportunity to bring needed improvements to the area.
