Wells & Scaletty LLC is the structural engineer for the 29,400-square-foot Ozarks Technical Community College Republic Education Center. Designs call for the use of natural stone and brick, and large spans of glass. The $7.3 million project is funded through a voter-approved measure from April 2018, according to past Springfield Business Journal reporting. The Lamar Johnson Collaborative LLC, formerly BatesForum LLC, is the project architect and landscape engineer, Rich Kramer Construction Inc. is the general contractor, and additional engineering work is by Lee Engineering and Associates Inc., civil; and CJD Engineering LLC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing. The project is expected to be completed in May 2020.
