Cox College officials tally the final funds to complete a fundraising campaign. The facilities campaign raised $6.8 million, ahead of a $6.6 million goal. Fundraising included a $2.2 million grant from the U.S. Department of Commerce and a $1 million matching grant from the J. E. and L. E. Mabee Foundation Inc. Cox College plans to renovate all four floors of its campus at 1423 N. Jefferson Ave.

Fueling Growth

Clean Streams
Miller Engineering PC employees, from left, Aleksey Pavlov, Dylan Newell, Cory Williams and Andy Coleman participate in the city of Springfield’s Adopt-A-Stream program. The crew gathered seven bags of trash while cleaning up the Lone Pine section of Galloway Creek. Through the city program, volunteers agree to remove litter from their adopted stream at least three times per year.
Moseley’s Discount Office Products was purchased; Side Chick opened in Branson; and the Springfield franchise store of NoBaked Cookie Dough changed ownership.
