The state capitol dome shines in blue lights June 13 in celebration of the Stanley Cup Final champion St. Louis Blues. The hockey team beat the Boston Bruins in Game 7 of the series the day prior. It’s the first NHL championship in the 52-year history of the team. “The wait is over,” Gov. Mike Parson said. “This is a well-deserved victory for a team that has inspired the people of St. Louis and Missouri throughout a hard-fought season. The Blues have made us all proud.”

HUNGER NEEDS
Ozarks Food Harvest officials May 31 receive $10,000 in fundraising matched by DairiConcepts LP during the Fight Hunger Faster Match Challenge. As a result, OFH has $20,000 for the food-insecure children, families and seniors living in its 28-county service area. Officials say that will provide 80,000 meals for hunger relief. DairiConcepts, a provider of premium, dairy-inspired ingredients for the food industry, has helped OFH distribute more than 230,000 meals since 2015.
