Walgreens Boots Alliance is attempting to take over AmerisourceBergen Corp., according to several media reports.
The company reportedly reached out to Amerisource CEO Steven Collis several weeks ago about purchasing the portion of Amerisource it doesn't already own.
Sources familiar with the matter said there isn't an offer on the table.
