The city of Stockton has been selected for a Missouri Department of Natural Resources grant.
The $30,000 in funding is earmarked for the city to evaluate its public drinking water system for needed improvements, according to a news release.
"Drinking water systems are among the most essential public infrastructures for every community’s health and economic vitality," officials said in the Department of Natural Resources release. "This grant helps communities like Stockton to assess their system and identify improvements for more effective and longer service."
Moseley’s Discount Office Products was purchased; Side Chick opened in Branson; and the Springfield franchise store of NoBaked Cookie Dough changed ownership.
