SRC Holdings Corp. has hired a partner at Spencer Fane LLP for a newly created role and promoted two existing employees to general manager positions.

Elizabeth Wente is slated to join SRC's executive legal team on Feb. 19 in a newly added deputy general counsel position, according to a news release. She is joining the company with nearly a decade of employment law experience at Spencer Fane, the past seven of which she's been a partner.

Wente will work alongside Deputy General Counsel Don Chenevert under General Counsel Dennis Sheppard, said Rapp.

The general manager promotions are effective tomorrow.

Aaron LaRose, vice president of sales, is becoming general manager of SRC Automotive, which supplies new and remanufactured gasoline engines. LaRose is succeeding the retiring Dwayne Jackson, said Danielle Rapp, SRC marketing and communications manager.

Chris Merrifield, chief operations officer of supply chain management services company NewStream Enterprises, is being promoted to general manager of the SRC subsidiary, according to the release. SRC Executive Vice President Gary Goetz, who was filling that role on an interim basis, is expanding his responsibility to SRC subsidiaries Ceramex North America and Global Recovery Corp. in addition to NewStream, said Rapp.

“Each of these leaders brings tremendous experience, talent and dedication to our customers and culture,” said Krisi Schell, SRC executive vice president of human resources, in the release. “They’re helping us build a strong leadership team focused on long-term success for our organization and employee-owners."
