Project description: Bryan Properties LLC plans to open a new hotel near downtown Springfield this fall, a slight delay from its original target opening this summer, said Carrie Shires with Crossland. The four-story, 98-room Tru by Hilton sits on a lot previously occupied by six houses, which were demolished to make way for the project. There are 95 Tru hotels across the country, including one in St. Louis. Springfield’s hotel will be the brand’s second in Missouri.
Moseley’s Discount Office Products was purchased; Side Chick opened in Branson; and the Springfield franchise store of NoBaked Cookie Dough changed ownership.
