Ahead of a planned Feb. 22 opening, Hy-Vee held a media tour today for the company's new store at 2150 E. Sunshine St.
The $12.7 million, more than 90,000-square-foot store is Hy-Vee's second in Springfield, after the 2011 opening of a location at 1720 W. Battlefield Road.
Hy-Vee Construction, a subsidiary, served as both general contractor and architect for the store, which also has a gas station and convenience store on-site, according to past reporting.
