Banking & Finance
Mid-Missouri Bank hired Dustin Turner as a commercial lender and vice president in Springfield. He has 10 years of banking experience, previously with Hawthorn Bank for six years.

Branson Bank promoted Lyndi Carnelison to marketing officer. She’s worked for the bank since 2006 and most recently was instrumental in a rebranding project, including a new logo.

Twenty-three year Guaranty Bank employee Will Cologna was promoted to first VP of digital banking for parent company QCR Holdings Inc. He previously served as VP of operations and security, and has 26 years of industry experience after earning an MBA in logistics and transportation from Missouri State University.

Guaranty Bank also promoted Dalton Day to commercial banking officer. In the banking industry since 2016, he previously worked as a credit analyst and holds a bachelor’s in general business from MSU.

OMB Bank promoted Cody Hansen to executive VP and chief credit officer, making him the seventh member of its executive leadership team. He has 17 years of industry experience, starting as a bank examiner for the Missouri Division of Finance. Hansen joined OMB in 2019 and holds a bachelor’s in finance from MSU.

Education
The U.S. Economic Development Administration recognized MSU as a Designated University Center eligible for $750,000 in federal funding over the next five years to support regional economic resiliency. The center represents a partnership led by MSU divisions The Efactory, Community and Global Partnerships, the provost’s office, Center for Resource Planning and Management, the Missouri Small Business Development Center at MSU and Jordan Valley Innovation Center.

Engineering
Olsson Inc. promoted Springfield and Joplin office lead Jared Rasmussen to oversee operations in its east-central region across Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas and Illinois. As a senior vice president, he manages nine offices and several hundred employees. Rasmussen has worked at Olsson for nearly two decades and holds a bachelor’s in civil engineering from University of Missouri-Columbia.

Carnahan Evans PC was recognized in the 2024 edition of Best Law Firms, ranked by Best Lawyers. The firm received a Tier 1 regional ranking in trusts and estates law.

Nonprofit
Heather Lyons-Burney was selected as the 2023 Humanitarian for her work to establish My Neighbor’s Charitable Pharmacy in Branson, for which she serves as a volunteer pharmacist and board president. The award, given in partnership by the Community Foundation of the Ozarks Inc. and the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, recognizes Lyons-Burney as a volunteer pharmacist and board president of Missouri’s first charitable pharmacy. Her work helps provide access to vital medications and health care resources for uninsured individuals in Stone and Taney counties. Lyons-Burney also works as an associate professor at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Pharmacy and operates a clinical practice at Branson’s Faith Community Health, which she and her husband, Brian, founded.

Community Foundation of the Ozarks promoted Vice President of Development Winter Kinne to CEO, succeeding the retiring Brian Fogle. An 18-year CFO veteran, Kinne worked with donors and professional advisers on charitable gifts and also managed the agency partner program with 700 nonprofits that hold funds with CFO. She holds an MBA from Drury University, as well as the designation of Fellow from the Charitable Estate Planning Institute.
