Description: Nonprofit organization Sheriff Arnott’s Distinguished Posse Inc. hired Insight Design Architects to design a training center and shoot house in Strafford. The 4,300-square-foot training center will contain a training room, offices, armory and weapon cleaning stations, project officials said. The shoot house, at 5,800 square feet, is planned to provide an area that can be configured in different ways for training of officers in various scenarios. A firing range will also be on the site. The project received $500,000 in American Rescue Plan Act funding.
