Description: Coming this fall on South Campbell Avenue from the Walker Hospitality Group family of hotels, owner of La Quinta Inn South next door, is a mixed-use development to feature commercial tenant space with drive-thru and restaurant availability. The restaurant space will occupy two floors in the back of the building and feature a balcony and outdoor dining. No tenants have been signed yet. The project expands the horizon for Walker Hospitality Group, according to owner Greg Walker, as this is the company’s first development that is not a hotel. Walker Hospitality also operates La Quinta Inn & Suites Airport Plaza in the northwest corner of the city. Walker said the new development includes three bays in the front, and the one with the drive-thru window likely will be a shop for drinks or sweet treats, he said.
