Project description: The headquarters now under construction for 27North, an automotive manufacturer specializing in custom luxury expedition vehicles, is intended to be the site of most of the company’s manufacturing. Measuring in at 300 feet by 167 feet, the building will feature four dock doors and five 12-by-14-foot drive-in doors, according to Rand Youngblood, project manager with Rich Kramer Construction. The office portion of the structure is designed at 5,700 square feet, including a 1,500-square-foot showroom to display the company’s high-end vehicles. The design includes parking for around 50 employees and will include a dual-port, 80-amp electric vehicle charger. Company founder and CEO Paul Bosovik said the 15-acre lot devotes 3 acres to the building, while the other 12 acres is the site of an off-road course. In a past interview with Springfield Business Journal, Bosovik said he had recently moved from a 9,000-square-foot plant in Brookline to a temporary facility in eastern Greene County while awaiting completion of the new headquarters for the growing company. Bosovik noted then that 2020 revenue for 27North was $145,000, but it hit roughly $12 million in 2022.
