CBS Corp. interim Chairman Richard Parsons resigned from the company's board due to illness.
Parsons said he already had multiple myeloma when he joined the board, but "unanticipated complications have created additional new challenges." His doctors advised him to cut back on commitments.
Strauss Zelnick, another media industry leader, is succeeding him.
