Bass Pro Shops has expansion plans in the works out West.

The Springfield-based outdoor retailer announced plans in a news release for a 130,000-square-foot Outdoor World store in Loveland, Colorado. The store would be Bass Pro's sixth in the Centennial State.

“We are very excited to announce this new location and continue to strengthen our relationship with the Western sportsmen and women of Colorado and beyond,” Bass Pro Shops CEO Johnny Morris said in the release. “This new store will make it easier for the people and families who love to hunt the mountains and high plains of the West and fish its rich streams to spend time together in the great outdoors.”

The store would be located along Interstate 25 between Denver and Cheyenne, Wyoming. Bass Pro is slated to anchor a development called Brands at the Ranch.

The store is expected to open in 2025, according to the release.

BassPro.com currently lists 171 stores in the United States and Canada under the Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's store brands.
