In honor of Veterans Day, Central Bank of the Ozarks and Central Trust Co. officials donate $20,000 to Honor Flight of the Ozarks with the funds going toward a flight to Washington, D.C., in spring 2019. Central Bank of the Ozarks and Central Trust also will be accepting donations for Honor Flight at its 21 locations in the Ozarks throughout November. In gratitude for the donation, made during Good Morning, Springfield on Nov. 1, Honor Flight organizers gave the financial company a relic portion of a parachute from D-Day.

Ten teams comprising 25 students worked to solve coding problems during the event hosted by the Mid-America Technology Alliance. This year’s winners were Christian Armstrong, Seven Thomsen and Nathaniel Kean of Ozark High School.

Takes a Village
O’Reilly Development Co. officials, project partners, state Sen. Sandy Crawford, R-Buffalo, and Lebanon Mayor Jared Carr cut the ribbon Oct. 30 on the new Tower Village in Lebanon. O’Reilly Development utilized low-income housing tax credits valued at $3.8 million over a 10-year period for the $6.2 million project. Separated by a tree line from Mercy Hospital Lebanon and off of Interstate 44, Tower Village has 30 two-bedroom units and six one-bedroom units across 30,000 square feet.
