Two leaders of Khmer Rouge found guilty of genocide

In the 1970s, the Khmer Rouge party committed genocide in Cambodia, an international tribunal in the capital Phnom Penh decided Friday.

The tribunal also found guilty two of the party's leaders: Nuon Chea, 92, and Khieu Samphan, 87.

The genocide resulted in the deaths of as many as 1.7 million Vietnamese and Muslim Cham people.
