President Donald Trump is planning to nominate State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert as United Nations ambassador, people familiar with the matter told The New York Times.
A former Fox News anchor, Nauert would succeed Nikki Haley, who's stepping down at year's end.
Nauert, according to The New York Times, brings little experience in foreign policy to the post.
