Route 13 J-turn intersection
Humansville
Olsson Inc. is the civil engineer of a redesign to improve the intersection on Route 13 and Route 123 in Polk County. Plans call for the intersection to be converted into a J-turn intersection with direct left-turns. Officials expect a reduction in the number of vehicle accidents. The team at Olsson is providing pavement cores, and roadway and traffic design, including lighting, signage and striping. The project is expected to cost $1.3 million, funded by the Missouri Department of Transportation. APAC-Central Inc. is the general contractor, and Trekk Design Group LLC is handling surveying. The project is expected to be competed this year.
Utah-based gourmet cookie chain Crumbl Cookies opened its first Springfield shop; interior design business Branson Upstaging LLC relocated; and Lauren Ashley Dance Center LLC added a second location.
