Strafford manufacturer AmProd Holdings LLC plans to add 50 jobs over the next three years.
The addition to its current workforce of 300 people is necessitated by customer demand, according to an investor brief issued by the Springfield Business Development Corp. AmProd CEO Steve Smith could not be reached for comment by deadline.
AmProd Holdings, which operates American Products LLC, Press Room Equipment LLC and EnSight Solutions LLC, produces products including telecommunication and industrial computer enclosures, food processing equipment, and press feeding and coil handling equipment.
“AmProd's continued growth and acquisition strategy is a testament to the strength of our region's business climate and quality workforce,” SBDC officials wrote in the investor brief.
In 2011, the manufacturer announced plans to add 95 jobs to its then existing workforce of 154 and make a $2.6 million capital investment, according to Springfield Business Journal archives.
