Reeds Spring superintendent to retire after settlement

After the Reeds Spring School District paid a $500,000 settlement last year, its superintendent is set to retire.

Michael Mason, superintendent since 2008, is scheduled to retire at the end of the academic year.

The settlement last year involved allegations that Mason made inappropriate sexual advances toward the intermediate school principal.
