O’Reilly Development Co. LLC yesterday cut the ribbon on its newly opened, $35.8 million senior living center in St. Charles.

The 180-apartment community comprised of studio and one- and two-bedroom units is 88 percent occupied, according to a news release.

The 195,769-square-foot center, known as The Boulevard Senior Living of St. Charles, was approved for development in 2015 by the Missouri Health Facilities Review Committee, according to Springfield Business Journal archives.

“The Boulevard is ideally suited for St. Charles County’s ongoing growth with a variety of living options, amenities, conveniences and technology designed to meet the needs of today’s seniors and tomorrow’s baby boomers,” said Pat O’Reilly, O’Reilly Development partner, in the release.

O’Reilly Development contracted with St. Charles-based Arrow Senior Living to manage the property. The facility offers independent and assisted living, as well as a memory care cottage for residents age 55 and older.

Earlier this month, O’Reilly Development ceremonially broke ground on The Township Senior Living, a nearly 142,000-square-foot continuum-of-care community at the southwest corner of Republic Road and West Bypass.

Last year, O’Reilly Development finished the $18 million Castlewood Senior Living in Nixa. The company also is working on the $23.4 million Wildwood Senior Living in Joplin, adding to its existing portfolio including The Fremont Senior Living in Springfield and the Parkway Senior Living in Blue Springs, according to SBJ archives.
