Pride Auto Detailing LLC
Desmond Morris moved his home-based Pride Auto Detailing LLC on Nov. 17 to 3,500 square feet of commercial garage space at 2835 E. Division St., Ste. P, behind Buck Stove & Spa. Morris started the business in 2015, following a two-year struggle to find a job in the field of chemistry with his degree from Missouri State University. He has grown a customer base through social media posts and how-to videos on YouTube, he said, now employing two and signing a three-year lease with Buck Stove owner Rick Herndon for undisclosed terms. The property, formerly home to Cintas Fire Protection, has room for eight cars. A-1 Electric Service updated the lighting, Arnie’s Plumbing Service added laundry hookups and hose connections, and Kris Evans of Buxton Kubik Dodd Creative is designing the lobby. A wash, wax and interior cleaning costs $150, Morris said, and extensive, multiday polish and paint protection jobs can run up to $3,000.

Butterfield Pharmacy
Citizens Memorial Hospital moved its Bolivar pharmacy about a block to 1125 N. Butterfield Road, Ste. A, in coordination with a change in the business model, said Marketing Director Tamera Heitz-Peek. Operating since 2003 as a CMH employee pharmacy across from the main hospital campus, it converted Dec. 11 to a retail pharmacy open to the public. The name changed Oct. 1 to Butterfield Pharmacy, and its seven employees fill prescriptions and sell over-the-counter medications and diabetic patient supplies. CMH’s Butterfield Park Medical Center used the 2,788-square-foot space previously and has since moved to 1300 N. Oakland Ave, Heitz-Peek said. The newly remodeled pharmacy has a drive-thru and accepts most major insurance plans, she said. CMH also owns the Osceola Community Pharmacy.

Trekk Design Group LLC
Kansas City, Missouri-based Trekk Design Group LLC moved its Springfield office Dec. 18 to 2137 W. Kingsley St., Ste. B, from 1900 W. Sunset St., Ste. 106. Brandon Freeman, an associate partner, launched the local office in 2012. Freeman now leads the 13-employee office along with Matt Ridpath, the lead project manager, said Melissa Evel, the firm’s marketing manager. While Trekk Design Group performs civil engineering, Evel said the Springfield office mostly handles wastewater assessments for public utilities. A new hire in September was Becky Baltz, who joined the Springfield office following her retirement from a 32-year career with the Missouri Department of Transportation, most recently as Southwest District engineer. The team occupies part of the former Springfield Office Supply building, which Assemblies of God Credit Union has owned for four years and uses as an operations center. A third unit is leased to Scott Rice Office Works. Evel declined to disclose Trekk’s lease terms with AGCU for the 3,600 square-foot space.
