Neally Law LLC
Neally Law LLC moved Sept. 1, about 300 feet, to 122 Park Central Square, after four years in the Holland office building. Branson resident Joshua Neally said his practice works in real estate and specializes in assisting clients to get out of the lifelong commitments in timeshares. The paperwork-intensive practice, which charges on average $275 per hour, recently has grown to 11 employees, prompting him to lease the 5,000-square-foot, long-vacant building from Jerry and Sondra Hagerman. It previously housed the publishing offices for Springfield Cares magazine and Jerry Hagerman’s former architecture firm, Hagerman New Urbanism, but has been vacant for two years. Neally signed a three-year lease, at $4,000 per month, for the three-story building with a basement. He said Springfield Hot Glass is designing 60 pieces for a lighted art-installation that will be viewable from the street. Previously, Neally worked as general counsel at Branson’s Summerwinds Resorts Services LLC.

2 Balance LLC
Sheri Hawkins, owner and president of 2 Balance LLC, followed Pat O’Reilly in a move June 1 to a new office at 5051 S. National Ave., Ste. 4-110. Hawkins previously leased space within O’Reilly Build LLC’s downtown office in Wilhoit Plaza. Hawkins founded The HR Department 20 years ago as a human resources outsourcing service, and she expanded offerings 11 years ago with the launch of 2 Balance. The five-employee business also provides public relations outsourcing, strategic planning, operations consulting and professional coaching. Hawkins had Build LLC as a client when O’Reilly Build bought it in 2016, and she continues to handle its payroll and HR. She said 2 Balance has a strategic partnership for referrals with Employee Benefit Design. Her firm manages HR for Brad Feuerbacher, who is opening Andy’s Frozen Custard franchises in Tennessee through Falcon Custard LLC, and other clients are office-park neighbor H Design Group and West Plains-based McClain Forest Products LLC. Hawkins signed a three-year lease for 600 square feet for undisclosed terms.

McMurtrey, Whitaker & Associates Inc. dba Cart32
Missouri State University alumni Bryan Whitaker and Shannon McMurtrey moved McMurtrey, Whitaker & Associates Inc. – dba Cart32 – on Aug. 1 four blocks north on Jefferson Avenue to The eFactory business incubator. Whitaker said after downsizing by two employees in their MSU Kenneth E. Meyer Alumni Center office, Cart32 didn’t need as much space and now leases a 500-square-foot private office in the tech-focused entrepreneurship center. Cart32’s six staff members develop websites, mobile apps and software, and its own Cart32 e-commerce software and payment gateway – which is used by Springfield Business Journal and D3 Technologies. Its 500 web hosting clients are managed remotely with hardware stored in the Bluebird Underground Data Center. McMurtrey, who also works as assistant professor of management information systems at Drury University, founded the IT consulting business in 1989 as a college student. Whitaker joined him in 1994.
