Ransin Injury Law owner David Ransin chose to move his office to the edge of town, surrounded by farmland and quiet suburban neighborhoods. Deer and other wildlife frequent the lower-level boardroom windows. The landscaping is seeded with wildflowers and other native prairie plants that will attract butterflies and hummingbirds in the coming years. “Our goal for the building was that we wanted it to blend our interest with the environment and ecology, yet project professionalism and strength,” Ransin says.

Interior Space
The office is designed with many windows and glass walls, allowing natural light to reach interior cubicles. The carpeting resembles distressed wood planks, and reclaimed barn boards hover above.

But the hard work has paid off, and those involved were named Design Team of the Year in 2017 by the Salute to Design & Construction Council.
