2017 Office NV

Posted online

There sure is an inanimate persona at play when walking into a building every day for work or when visiting a client. We become part of the surroundings. A company’s culture has a lot to do with the office space – in both the form and the function.

The Springfield Business Journal editorial staff recognize these aspects, and we realize some are more adept at inspiring designs than others. There can be an envy that arises toward another’s office.

We introduce to you Office NV – photo essays of seven businesses with cool, creative, functional office spaces. There are breathtaking visuals, windows everywhere, flex meeting spaces, community-building activities and one-of-a-kind environments. Some are just days old (Buxton Kubik Dodd Creative) and others are in buildings with decades of character (Andy’s Frozen Custard and Dake Wells Architecture). But what they do with the space is what matters.

Our aim is to learn from each other’s office aesthetics, layout and design, creativity and outright novelties. And a big thanks to the companies that opened their doors to us for exclusive tours.

Welcome to SBJ’s Office NV edition.
