Megan Chester
was promoted to senior associate II at BKD LLP, working in the firm’s Financial Services Group. She has master’s and bachelor’s degrees in accounting from Missouri State University, as well as a graduate certificate in forensic accounting.

Morgan Crews, Meg Goodman, Derek Lee and Matthew Wheatley were promoted to senior associate II in BKD’s National Health Care Group. Morgan and Goodman graduated from Southwest Baptist University with bachelor’s degrees in accounting. Lee has bachelor’s degrees in accounting and management from SBU, and Wheatley completed master’s and bachelor’s degrees in accounting at MSU.

BKD also promoted Zach Thomann to senior associate II. He focuses on construction and real estate, and manufacturing and distribution. Lee has a bachelor’s in accounting from Drury University.

Systematic Savings Bank appointed Trevor Crist to its board of directors. Crist is the CEO of Nixon & Lindstrom Insurance and has 16 years of industry experience.

Central Bank of the Ozarks added Corey Harmon as vice president-commercial loan officer and Tatyana Osenniy as a mortgage loan officer. With six years of lending experience, Harmon is responsible for portfolio management, business development, and commercial and consumer lending. Osenniy has seven years of administration and lending experience.

Health Care
Citizens Memorial Hospital appointed nurse practitioner Cassie Cox to its Ear, Nose & Throat Clinic in Bolivar. She has a bachelor’s in nursing from Cox College of Nursing and a master’s in nursing from University of Central Missouri.

CoxHealth added nine physicians to the Cox Family Medicine Residency: Joe Barnard, Bjai Rice and Theo Zemanuel of A.T. Still University; Gabriela Cox of Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine; Steven James of University of Arkansas-Little Rock; Karissa Merritt of Liberty University; Chris Odehnal of Saint Louis University; Melany Su of New York University; and Caleb Tague of University of Kansas. Each will serve at CoxHealth’s Family Medical Care Center through 2021.

Hospitality
Candlewood Suites South and Candlewood Suites North
, both owned by Elliot Lodging, won 2017 Torchbearer Awards from the InterContinental Hotel Group. The award denotes the top 5 percent of IHG hotels nationwide for guest services. Candlewood Suites South has won the award each year since opening in 2008, and Candlewood Suites North earned the award in 2012, 2013 and 2017.

Law
Amanda Fick
joined Hamburg, Lyons & Clouse LLC as an associate attorney. She practices estate planning, probate, business law and civil litigation.

Insurance
Nixon & Lindstrom Insurance hired Isaac Nixon as a personal risk specialist. He’s served in the U.S. Army and earned an associate degree in arts at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in Biloxi.
