BKD LLP promoted Katie Holmes, William Jones, Laura Knese and Ryan O’Grady to senior managers. Holmes is a member of the firm’s construction, retail and business services, and employee benefits teams. Jones provides audit and review services to retail and business service clients. Knese has seven years’ experience providing accounting and audit services to real estate clients with low-income housing tax credit properties and solar tax credit facilities. O’Grady provides audit and consulting services to health care providers across the country.

Architecture
Buxton Kubik Dodd Design Collective hired Keith Webb as professional engineer. He has 26 years’ experience in engineering and project management with an emphasis in industrial markets. Webb has a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from the Missouri School of Science & Technology.

Banking and Finance
Old Missouri Bank promoted Marketing Director Shanda Trautman to senior vice president of marketing. She was instrumental in OMB’s digital marketing efforts and its advertising partnership with Missouri State University.

Construction
Jason Carson of Carson-Mitchell Inc. was named as a director of The Builder’s Association board. Carson became CEO of the company in May 2018.

Education
The Evangel University Department of Kinesiology presented its 2019 Distinguished Alumnus Award to 1988 graduate Don Decker. He is currently in his sixth year as the director of sports performance for New Mexico State University and previously spent time on the coaching staff at the University of Mississippi and the University of Arkansas. While at Evangel, Decker was an all-district and all-conference quarterback, as well as an All-American honorable mention.

Health Care
CoxHealth added nine resident physicians to Cox Family Medicine Residency: Jacob Bolt, Rachel Brown, Margaret Givens, Edward Hansen, Victoria Jackson, Mario Martinez, Kristen Snyder-Hernandez, Shelby Steinbecker and Rachel Watson. The residency program recently was reaccredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education after an annual review.

Media
Springfield Business Journal added Jessica Lamb-Rosa as editorial designer and photographer. She succeeds Wes Hamilton, who was hired by Culture Flock Clothing LLC as art director. Lamb-Rosa previously ran J Rosa Photography & Design as a freelance photographer and has 25 years of experience in photography.

Municipal
The Springfield Fire Department was reaccredited for another five years by the Commission on Fire Accreditation International/Center for Public Safety Excellence. The department was assessed on 10 broad categories, including financial resources, programs, training and competency.

Nonprofit
The Diaper Bank of the Ozarks hired Lori McLerran as executive director. She was formerly the center communications supervisor for the Community Blood Center of the Ozarks, where McLerran implemented support programs for local sponsors while supervising the volunteer and LifePoints programs.

The Community Foundation of the Ozarks and Missouri Foundation for Health awarded a $10,000 grant to the Nixa Community Foundation. The grant, provided through the Rural Ozarks Health Initiative, will address health issues in CFO’s rural service area.
