New York Times: From the start, Trump has muddied a clear message

The New York Times reports that two weeks before his inauguration, President Donald Trump was shown classified intelligence that Russian President Vladimir Putin personally order cyberattacks to sway the U.S. election.

Grudgingly, Trump sounded convinced, people who attended the intelligence briefing told The Times. The report indicates Trump's own intelligence officers have unanimously endorsed the findings that Russia interfered in the election.

Trump on Monday said he accepted Putin's denial of Russian influence in the presidential election of 2016.
