Missouri requests 2nd federal disaster declaration

Missouri officials have asked the federal government for a second disaster declaration.

The new declaration would cover 41 counties, including Greene, that experienced tornadoes and flooding.

President Donald Trump approved an earlier request that covered 13 Missouri counties damaged by March flooding.

A disaster declaration allows individual assistance in the affected counties.
