Microsoft, Walgreens sign deal

Microsoft signed a multiyear deal with Walgreens.

Through the deal, Walgreens will sign up its more than 380,000 employees for Microsoft 365 cloud apps offerings, including Office 365 and Windows 10. Most of its information technology structure will move to Microsoft's Azure public cloud service.

The deal also includes cooperation on research and development, as well as software to manage patient engagement and chronic disease.
