Project description: Brentwood, Tennessee-based Tractor Supply Co. (Nasdaq: TSCO) is preparing to open a store on the west side of Highway 13. Matt Mitchell, co-owner and project manager of general contractor Mitchell Brothers Construction, said the Bolivar store is a prototype. “They’re getting the newest of the new,” said Mitchell, whose company has built about 20 stores the last nine years for Tractor Supply Co. developer R.A. Wilson Enterprises. “We work hand in hand with the development entity.” Both Mitchell Brothers and Wilson Enterprises are based in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Mitchell said once his crews turn over the building, Tractor Supply usually takes three or four weeks to stock, so the store could open by mid-November. Tractor Supply spokesman Breck Rochow said the opening date was not set by press time. Of the 1,600 stores in operation, Tractor Supply has a presence in Nixa, Hollister, Cassville and Lebanon, according to its website.
