Project description: Burnsville, Minnesota-based Northern Tool and Equipment this fall plans to open its third Missouri store. At the fourth remaining available parcel at James River Commons, BP Builders broke ground in late March between Sam’s Club and Walmart Neighborhood Market. The retailer sells tools mainly for automotive, farming, trucking and the food service industries. Among its 100 stores, Northern Tool already operates in Arnold, Independence and St. Peters, according to its website. Northern Tool signed on as a long-term tenant with James River Commons, said developer Stu Stenger of TKG-RKS Joint Venture LLC. Terms of the lease were not disclosed.
