Project description: Developer Tom Rankin and an undisclosed business partner, organized as Garton 3 LLC, are constructing the third building in the 80-acre Garton Business Park. Mercy’s ROi and Lew’s Fishing occupy the first two. Rankin said Lot 3, on 8.5 acres, is a speculative building for a warehouse user. Ross Construction Group project manager Andy Ross said the building, designed with 15 loading dock doors and one drive-in dock, has an expandable wall for another potential 30,000 square feet. The ceiling height is set at 32 feet, Rankin said, and it’ll have LED warehouse lighting, as well as light-emitting panels on one side. He said there are five more lots available in the park’s first phase, selling for about $70,000 apiece.
