Project description: A four-story mixed-use development with a steakhouse anchor is emerging in southeast Springfield’s Galloway Village. Galloway Creek Development Group, owned by Brent Brown of Entrust Property Solutions, the Jalili restaurant family and silent partners, is bringing 66 lofts above commercial space. According to Entrust Property listings, studios will rent for roughly $640 per month, and one-bedrooms are $820. Jamie Thomas, Entrust’s vice president of sales and marketing, said all commercial spaces are full. Businesses signed on include Culture Flock Clothing store, Pure Hot Yoga and Chops restaurant, a 3-year-old plan by the Jalilis. “It’s really going to spur the growth in that area,” said project manager Kyle Yarbrough with Buxton Kubik Dodd Design Collective.
Utah-based gourmet cookie chain Crumbl Cookies opened its first Springfield shop; interior design business Branson Upstaging LLC relocated; and Lauren Ashley Dance Center LLC added a second location.
