Project description: Aldersgate United Methodist Church is building a two-story addition to connect a worship center and a children’s classroom wing. Project manager Andy Ross of Ross Construction Group said roughly 14,000 square feet are on the main floor and another 12,000 square feet are on the second story. He said the structural steel building is designed with an exterior to match the existing finishes. The church built the 400-seat worship center in 2009, according to Springfield Business Journal archives.
