Andy B's Entertainment & Bowling Centers is partnering with Good Spirits Concepts LLC to roll out an overhauled drink menu.
Andy B's hired Good Spirits’ Josh Widner and Rogan Howitt to conduct research and development for new cocktails, draft wines and the entertainment center chain’s beer menu, said Trevor Collins, director of marketing for Andy B’s. He declined to disclose the terms of the contract.
Widner has experience in the beverage industry as owner and operator of two Scotch & Soda locations in downtown Springfield and Bentonville, Arkansas, as well as Cherry Picker Package X Fare and The Golden Girl Rum Club in the Queen City. Widner’s brother Howitt is a partner with him in Golden Girl. Good Spirits Concepts also is working to bring food and beverage Blackwell Hall to town, as well as a concept called Best of Luck Beer Hall. Read more on those plans by clicking here.
Andy B’s also hired Lindsay Ritter as corporate chef. Ritter has 15 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, including work as the executive chef for the Sysco test kitchen, according to a news release.
In her new role at Andy B’s, she is leading the company’s food and beverage program by working to develop a new menu.
“The menu combines a love for great food and downright delicious cocktails, taking a modern approach on America’s favorites,” Ritter said in the release. “We’re talking burgers piled with fresh cheese curds, flat-iron steak finished with gorgonzola butter and drinks that warrant another round.”
The rollout of the new menu will start at the company’s new center at Branson Landing and the new location in Denton, Texas, according to the release.
The Springfield center, 1127 E. Battlefield Road, is expected to adopt the menu following the new year, according to the release.
Utah-based gourmet cookie chain Crumbl Cookies opened its first Springfield shop; interior design business Branson Upstaging LLC relocated; and Lauren Ashley Dance Center LLC added a second location.
