Amazon has given up on the battle with Chinese e-commerce giants.
The company announced plans to shut down its Chinese marketplace, Amazon.cn.
“We are working closely with our sellers to ensure a smooth transition and to continue to deliver the best customer experience possible,” an Amazon spokesperson told TechCrunch.
Alibaba and JD.com dominate in the Chinese market.
