Now: President, D3 Technologies
In less than a year, D3 Technologies President Kevin Schlack has penned three acquisitions. You could say business is booming for the Springfield-based 3-D design consultancy firm.
“D3 was very much a regional company,” Schlack says.
“With our acquisitions, we’re a nationwide firm now.”
A year ago, D3 Technologies acquired Wisconsin-based MasterGraphics and Springfield’s Brian J Mills Engineering LLC in November 2017. Most recently, D3 Technologies on March 14 announced the acquisition of the Autodesk division of Grandville, Michigan-based JVH Engineering Inc. for undisclosed terms. Schlack says the latest acquisition consists of about 15 percent of an expected $30 million in 2018 revenue.
